FAQ
When is the coroner involved?
By law, the coroner is required to investigate sudden, violent, or unusual deaths.

All toxicology samples drawn by a coroner anywhere in Arkansas are analyzed by the Arkansas State Crime Lab in Little Rock. Autopsies are also performed by the crime lab. The coroner’s office will provide reports when possible; the timeline is not completely predictable.
What should family members do?
