Courthouse Security

Courthouse Security is responsible for the physical security of ten judges, eleven courtrooms, and three facilities. Responsibilities include all detention center transports for court, DNA collection, the service of court documents, reports and arrests from the facilities. This office has a staff of 26.

• Providing physical security for courthouses and staff
• Transporting detainees to court
• Serving court documents

Courthouse Expectations

Everyone must go through a security screen to enter the Courthouse.

Do not bring the following into the Courthouse:

	Food or Drink
	Weapons of any kind (knives, conceal carry gun, clubs, guns, etc.)

 

In Court:

 

	No camera allowed
	Cell phones must be turned off.  No texting allowed.
